• Welcome to the Laughingwell Company

    A social skills playgroup program for High Functioning children with Autism, Asperger's, or ADHD and typical peers. Each group has 5-6 students (an even mix of neurotypical children and students on the spectrum) and at least 2 adult play guides. Groups start June of 2008. Children learn social skills using ABA techniques as well as a humor and play-based approach to learning. The classes take place in Broomfield, Colorado. This is a rich biography from an adult perspective of what a childhood with Apergers is like. The most helpful aspect of the book for practitioners is where Robison explains how he uses his more developed logic brain to compensate for his less developed social pragmatics.
