A parent in Colorado recently found this DVD series to be extremely helpful in introducing certain social skills to her son who has Autism. These videos are direct instruction and simple tips for children encountering new social situations. One is called, “Time for School” and another is called “Time for a Playdate”, for example. A local Broomfield /Boulder area mom said that these videos were effective because her son enjoyed watching them and did start to demonstrate some of the skills being modeled in the videos. The company is called Model Me Kids. The website has helpful video sample clips available for each of the videos in the series. Their website is listed below.
